A Message from our President

Welcome to Theta at-Large Chapter (#007) Site

It is truly an honor to serve as your chapter president. Having been a nurse for 30 years, I have found it humbling to see the ever-changing landscape of healthcare and the role that nursing plays in shaping the future. Nurses work in all settings of healthcare and create positive outcomes.

Theta at-Large seeks to answer the 2025-2027 Call to Action of Leading Together. Our chapter brings together exceptional nursing scholars, faculty, and leaders across multiple institutions. We promote excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service within the global Sigma community.

As the chapter members work together through educational opportunities, advocacy events, networking, and new opportunities for all members, we will continue to grow our chapter and support all members.

    Get out your sneakers, it's time to walk again for our most vulnerable populations!  Please consider walking with us during this special event. You can also support the mission by donating here.
    This year,  Theta at-Large 007 (Sigma Theta Tau, Theta at-Large Chapter) team is so excited to have Wheaton College, which has officially joined the chapter, join us! The team is dedicated to being part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
    With preterm birth and maternal morbidity and mortality continuing to rise, we’re committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start, and you can help us.
    Please consider marching with the team and/or donating today.  Theta at-Large 007 would love you to walk and/or donate to support the mission of the March of Dimes today!
    Together, we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure healthy mothers and strong babies.
